If the bones found under a Leicester car park do turn out to be those of Richard 3 will they be afforded a state funeral?

Are all the bones present or is it a case of Richard III part I?

Sorry. My last post should have read Lower School.
History is made by those who write it. Shakespeare plays were often written centuries after the actual events, but many still take it as read that they are an accurate portrayal of those event, which of course is absurd.
No serious scholar of my acquaintance takes Shakespeare's version of history as gospel. That does not necessarily mean that he was wrong.
who doesn't remember being taught about Richard 111 at school, dark brooding hunchback, murderous man, and Shakespeare play is exactly that, he obviously wasn't anything of the sort of course, so that's part of the problem.
"...obviously wasn't anything of the sort of course, so that's part of the problem."

And your evidence for this is..?
the bible is history, would you agree with that, written by many over centuries, yet who really believes it, those who have studied it year in year out, those who had it foisted on them at RE studies in school, or by parents at home. without sounding like i am making fun, it's not all gospel is it.
The Bible is not history, it is evidence, which may be evaluated and either accepted or rejected according to its perceived worth. There is a crucial difference.
so how come so many people believe it ?
