Motorcycle test...

Anyone know of any motorcycle test centres in the West Midlands area or Wales that do motorcycle mod 1 & 2 tests on Saturdays? I've tried the DSA website but it's too much back and forwards on that stupid site, I haven't got the patience so wandering if anyone on here has any idea. TIA

I had a look and can't find any that are open in Saturday.

I can't find one either, it's driving me mad! Haven't got any days holiday to use at work and they wont let me take unpaid! :-(

Nope, just standard bike licence.

Could you ring one of the local ones and ask if they know of one that is open on Saturday or ask our instructor?

I have just asked James (instructor), waiting for reply. I phoned DSA today but may as well have asked somebody I passed on the street, they're useless!

I will be amazed that your local independent schools don't run on sat and sun as they do here in the east mids

Is mod 1 and 2 'theory' ?
Its a long time since I passed my test.

I have my lessons etc.on Saturdays but nearest test centre is 40 miles away! and can't find one within about 70 miles that does Saturdays so looking less and less likely to happen on a Saturday!

Theory is separate, mod 1 is off road riding, mod 2 is on road riding.

I see, It was CBT and test when I did it. (all at weekend)

It was "twice round the block and don't run the examiner over" in my day ... mine was a coward - stepped out about 50 yards away for my emergency stop, had to wave me to come nearer and do it again :+)

I dont know for sure but try lichfield. I used to see them on a sat

I took my motor cycle test in the 1960s during a blizzard, the tester stood in a shop doorway and watched me do a circuit then waved me in.If you can drive in this you can drive in anything,and gave me a pass ticket.
