Still loving Downton, especially Matthew and Mary ............ Does anyone else think Mr Bates in prison looks younger and more handsome in this new series?

I think that he's lost some weight since the last Downton series - I haven't seen Starlings yet, that pleasure still awaits! Don't the constant advert breaks drive you mad though

There used to be one advert break each half an hour programme, now there are loads, why? ggrrrr!!

because the producers have funded the show by selling the advertising space, which would have been easy to do as the programme is so popular.

I see I'm not alone in liking "Mr Bates" ;) Its the crinkley eyes which do for it for me! but that other chap Derek Branning? ugh just googled him, he's got fat lips which I can't stand ............ :(

Behave neti, I like a bit o' rough but I'd draw the line well before Derek Branning...my bad boy of choice would be Cain Dingle.

I quite like Brendan Coyle but he was better in Larkrise (younger!)...I couldn't stand his twittering wife though.
