Poppers on Duvet Covers.......

Why, after awhile, do they stop poppin' together?
Just changed our duvet cover and its so annoying...only about 6 work!!

What temperature do you wash you bedding at? If you go for a super hot wash plastic poppers may become distorted.

It's probably a combination of soap powder and heat.
It's is annoying.

I always wash bedding at 60degrees - but our duvet covers seem to have buttons or ties on them so warping of poppers isn't a problem

Maybe the heat from the tumble dryer ?

I put them on a 40 degree wash but then in the dryer.....perhaps that's why!- Never thought of that! Thanks :-)

When that happened to mine, I went along and sewed on proper press studs! Problem solved.
