What's you emergency

That was pretty horrendous last night, hearing the kids calling 999 terrified with their mothers screaming while being beaten in the back ground.
And the way one young woman seemed adamant that every woman gets knocked around. And her poor little boy there surrounded by police and paramedics.

I am like evian, my husband was the kindest of men and thought women were to be looked after not beaten about. However, my older sister was married to a despicable man who would lash out at the slightest thing. A complete bully. When she had one child my father said to her 'It's a poor hen who can't peck for one chick' and would have welcomed her back home - he also was the kindest of men - but she would not come and died when she was 46 of heart disease after having three more children, and no doubt in my mind exacerbated by the beatings she took. I could not understand why she stayed with him and never will. If you have nowhere else to go I could perhaps understand it but she knew she could come home, but still did not. Do the women always labour under the misapprehension that the bully is going to change? It is not going to happen unfortunately. Sorry - rant over.
