Scrabble

Just been slaughtered in a game of scrabble. 340/230, almost at the end i noticed OH had spelled a word wrong, he had linx instead of lynx and it was on a treble! My fault for not realising but spitting feathers. We play a couple of times a week and every night when on holiday. How many of you play scrabble?

My Swiss grandkids love to play Scrabble...in GERMAN! ..my German is fine for everyday use but far from Scrabble standard....I get thrashed...their ENGLISH is perfect too but they know they have me beat in German...the little so and sos :-)

We play quite a lot of Scrabble (and Bookworm) trouble is it becomes Squabble after a few G & T's.
