What is the matter with b***** couriers? Especially Fedex. I have waited in all day for them to collect a parcel and they didn't come!!! Arghhhhh!!

I rang them at 3.00 to make sure they were coming because they have let me down before - yes he's on his way - I rang again at 5.00 asking where is he. Oh he called at 4.25 but there was no answer. Thats because he didn't ring the buzzer I said.

It is SO annoying. Anyway, sorry not a question but I feel better now lol.

I had that with city link, except he didnt even try the door, he posted a "you were not in" card through the door and luckily I caught him before he drove off. he seemed a bit red faced
No problem! lol! :)
hi cazz.

There's nothing worse than sitting in all day waiting on someone who doesn't call, especially if you've had to take time off work.
its worse when they give you a 07:00 to 18:00pm time slot and arrive at 17:55pm!
I've had the card through the door thing as well. I think these guys are under tremendous time pressure, and if they see no car on the drive or whatever they pop a card through the letterbox. Not satisfactory, but blame the companies for the working conditions
i had an order delivered toady and they told me it would be between 8-12, it arrived at 7.05, got me out of bed
ordered something over the internet which turn out to be unsuitable so rang and asked for it to be collected. was given a time slot of between 8 am and 12 noon on the friday for it to be picked up. we were going on holiday on the saturday for two weeks and three adults were in the house all day long packing etc and no-one called. my son came over and stayed all day saturday and no-one called. when we returned from holiday there were two cards to say the courier had called on monday at 3pm and on tuesday at 11am. when i phoned the company again i was told i was out of time as they had a 14 day returns policy and they refused to refund me. i have e-mailed and rung and written but they are adamant. no refund. i am now stuck with 135 of goods i don't want and can't use.

I understand that they are really busy but so am I!!

I live in a flat and have a security door and they have to buzz to gain entry.

I think it gets to the end of the day, they drive past, realise its a flat and think I'm too tired and can't be bothered!!

You can drop off and collect parcels at Pony Express centres for all couriers. The couriers will collect or deliver from there.
