Scottish people typing in Scottish

I notice some Scots type on the internet type in their dialect eg; using 'nae' for no etc etc.

Maybe everyone should start typing in their own dialect to stamp their own provincial individuality on every thread.

of course you'll notice I'm from the south and this is how words appear in the manner of correct pronunciation.

It's fine as long as the point you're making is clear. It's only pompous twits that get snotty about grammar, spelling, slang etc.

I generally only use dialect for humorous effect - obviously, that sometimes misfires!
I'm actually quite good at recognising accents, having lived in various parts of the UK and with relatives spread around the country. A stint working in London many years back, and now regularly visiting the capital to see the grandchildren Hes exposed me to many OUK accents.
The British one that completely foxed me was a colleague from the Welsh side of the Bristol Channel, very West Countryish.
Anyway, if someone posts anything I can't penetrate, I'd simply ask for clarification if I felt Ineeded to know badly enough.
