Windows XP turning off
2 Answers
I have always clicked on LOG OFF first before Turn Off Computer procedure, but should I be doing that ? What do other users do?
When I re-boot it is always slow to connect to Internet Explorer or Google. (I have Wireless Broadband connection in the next room and a Netgear WNDA3100 adapter.)
One of the XP manuals does not mention Logging off when turning off so perhaps i don't need to be doing it.
Any hints greatly appreciated.

So user A can logoff to allow User B to logon and use the computer (this is what we do in our house where the PC is set up for the 5 members of our household).
Doing a logoff before shutting down Windows serves no purpose at all (assuming you do a proper Windows shut down as this saves all your files).
