I have bought myself a point and shoot camera. Ishould have had one years ago, but I am digressing. My question is ,I have taken a picture of a plant out in the fields and not knowing the the name of it would like to know how to up load the picture to some where to get a name. I would be very grate full if someone could tell me how todo this.

if you upload a photo to one of those sites, it will give you a URL (ie a webpage address) that you can cut and paste here; people will then be able to click on it and see your photo.

Once you've up loaded your photo you can now down load it to a site sush as AB where somebody will help you identify it eg

jno has explained what you do to publish the photograph so that ABers can possibly identify the plant concerned. I would like to see if I can say what is the mystery item.
