I was watching Morse today. He walks with a slight 'limp' on his right foot does anybody know what caused this?

I do not think it was part of the series. I think it must of been an injury.

I think that it was an accident when he was younger.

Broke his foot in his teens, left him with slight limp which I believe got worse in later years

He lifted his foot quite high as if he did not want to put it to the ground. I noticed it a long time ago and read somewhere that he had a problem because of an injury when he was younger.
