If it tastes all right it probably is

And remember these days a lot of beer has the date it was brewed on it rather than a use by date - make sure you are not misreading the date
I used to drink in a pub where the landlord was always selling out of date cans, I never heard of any-one getting ill.
let them party, if it tastes alright, it is alright. food and drink can last well past it sell by date when canned.
It will put hairs on their chests.
shooty, you're getting braver
Have you spilled some on your chin moonraker : )
lol, i'm off : )
Bugger , missed him.
We will get you soon, shooty
"Use by" really means "buy new one by" and is purely a commercial con. If it tastes OK then go on and drink it.
Beer will not have a "use by" date - that is for perishables.
The date on beer is a "best before" date, and means just that - the beer will be at it's best before that date. It will NOT suddenly become unsafe after that date- but will not be at it's best.
So, drink it.
Try a drop.should be ok,if its off you will know.
Beer (even canned beer) doesn't taste anywhere near as good as it should when it's old. but it's not harmful and a 18 year old won't care about the quality.
Out of date beer??? Never heard of such a thing ;-)
