Horseradish - I have horseradish root does anyone make their own sauce? If so how?

see if he can get you a root you might be able to grow umm, but do it in a big pot. The roots spread like mad

Good idea. I have a massive pot that's not being used. Do I just bury it in soil? Gardening is not my forte...
