Absolutely loved the DVD of Kevin Bridges (stand up comedian from Clydebank). He's young and does observational comedy. Have also seen him on TV and really enjoyed it. Went to see him live last night in Dundee and was so disappointed. His language was atrocious, every second word an F and not in the least bit funny. The audience, who were mostly pi$$ed (girl in front of me fell off her seat) seemed to love this and he played to them in a big way. Must be getting old!!

I never understand why some so-called comedians think they need to swear to be funny.
Sorry to hear you had a lousy time.
That's a shame, maggie. I usually like him too. Excessive swearing can be such a put off.
Jim nick nick Davidson was like that as well, totally different live than he was on TV.
Swearing should only be used sparingly (if at all) and then it has more punch.

I rarely find comedians funny - sarcasm and black humour are more my style. Father Ted type humour. :-)
I saw Roy Walker once and I could not believe the filth that he was coming out with and every other word a swear word too, he was performing at a bingo hall for christs sake !!!! complete elderly audience ! most like me got up and left !
Bob Monkhouse was very blue, but funny as well.
