Has anyone tried to sell books on Amazon? When buying recently there was an ad asking if I had one like this to sell? I have quite a few hardbacks in new condition but not going to faff about if it's not worth it.

Hi maggie. Yes, I've sold loads. grasscarp put me onto it and I have been really pleased with the results. About 30/40 books went on and I think I may have 1 left. It's really easy to list them and very easy to manage. Amazon take a cut of the sale price and they only allow you £2.65 (I think) for postage. That can be a problem if its a weighty book, I just adjusted the selling price to accommodate the difference. Grasscarp has more experience than me of selling on Amazon, she may be along later. Good luck if you decide to do it.
Hi maggiebee, you sell books via amazon marketplace its quite easy to set up just follow the links. You choose a price and amazon sets the postage fee it will add to your sale then amazon will take its fees. When you list item all all fees will be agreed by you before you list item.
