How can I make my Galaxy phone ring for longer with n incoming call before it goes to voice mail. Sometimes I have difficulty getting it out of my bag to answer it before it goes to voice mail?

I have a Nokia that only rings three times then cuts to voicemail. Wish I knew!
The length of time a phone rings before going to voicemail is set by your phone service (Vodaphone, Orange etc.) and is a maximum of thirty seconds on GSM networks. If yours is shorter than this you can either ring your suppler and ask them to up it to the maximum or you can do it yourself if you know the phone number of your voicemail (Orange is 07973100123 for instance) you then need to dial *61*07973100123*11*30# and press send/call. The 61 is the 'forward if not answered' GSM code, then your voicemail number, 11 is the code for voice calls and 30 is the ringtime in seconds before divert. I know from experience that this works perfectly but make no guarantees/take no responsibility if anything untoward happens to you :-) PS. if you search for GSM codes in Google you should find plenty of sites telling you the same things
I have the same problem caran I tell all my regular callers/pals that if I dont answer then ring again straight away as I should have found the damn phone by then.I usually find it just as it stops ringing.
