It's an ongoing issue that if you answer some people's questions and don't wring your hands and moan about the rags on your back, you are implied to be 'wealthy', ' gloating' and all manner of other things. There have been quite a few threads about it, especially one I recall when one user was made to feel guilty about having a holiday and celebrating Christmas. People are who they are, some are better off financially than others, it doesn't mean they ought not to be allowed to answer questions without being made to feel as if they shouldn't have spoken.

Try Billy Wilder's suggestion. When his wife wired asking him to buy a bidet in France he wouldn't and wired back " Suggest handstand in shower" Should work for feet in a shower then.

I bought a seat for my Dad. It fits across the bath and it's very simple self assembly, just screwing in a few wing nuts, and it takes up to 21 stone. I bought it from Coopers. They dish out catalogues by the dozen in other magazines, but they also have a website. Just Google Coopers.

I saw a sandal sort of device that has soft bristles inside it that allows you to scrub your feet without bending. It was shown in one of the magazines that come through the door, which I naturally binned so I have no further info on that.

I love a bath (could stay in for hours topping up with hot water ,ice cold Gand T and a good book),sadley have not been able to get back in it since my knee replacement.This morning OH suggested I try but when I saidv I'm not sure I could get out again despite grab bars he said thts ok we'll call the fire brigade ! thanks x
