If plus and minus 155 days are equal then 201 and ABC are equal and 725 and 725 are equal. The hint for solving this puzzle is "not a leap year"

Second puzzle is called 29th July:

R = Edward Abnel Keli'iahonui "Dudie" Kawananahoa II

E = Bibhutibhushan Mukhopadhyay

G = Ryutaro Tatsumi

The gentelmen in your second puzzle all died on July 29th. 1989, 1987 and 1997 if that is any help.
