I've tried emailing version no luck.I have no Word or excel to copy and paste I tried wordpad but no luck If either of you could be a little more specific please this old brain of mine might get round it Thanks..
Right codswallop, here's what I do. I open the thread in AB I want to copy, just like this thread is open now as you are reading it. I then take my cursor to the top of the page, highlight the URL, right click and copy it. Then I come out of AB and go to my email account where I select Compose and put my own name in as Recipient. In the body of the email I then Right Click and Paste the AB link that I have just copied here. You can then do what you want with it. You could start an AB file where you keep all the info from here you want. Easy peasy. Good luck.
Hi there ladybirder thanks for the very clear directions, which I followed without any problem, until I got to copy and paste from the email.I clicked on copy went to my special AB folder but the paste didn't h/light in the drop down list.I said FOLDER should I open a FILE somehow?? I am following this through because of your efforts, but as far as I can see this is no different to the "subscribe"method where you have to save all the answers not just the one that's best.
OK, my mistake. If you just want to copy your favourite answer then instead of copying the URL from here, just highlight the answer, Right Click and Copy. Then, as before, leave AB, go to your emails and send an email to yourself enclosing the link you have just copied, by Right Click and paste. When you receive the email you should be able to click on the link and see your copied answer. I would then save it in an email folder. Is that better?
