I think it's interesting, we have blue plaques here where the first and last German bombs fell on this town.
forget not me I remember as though it was yesterday the howling of the siren and then holding my mum's hand and going to the shelter not knowing when we returned and if we returned, that our house would still be standing, a stranger returning after the war and being told it was my dad.
