I Had A Dream And I Feel Somewhat Unsettled

As you all know by now i have a new job as Phlebotomist working on wards. Anyway, my dream was that my father was on one of the wards i work on, and i forgot to go visit him as i was so busy. When i finally went to see him he had a big proud smile on his face. We spoke(i don't know what was said).

Thats it, the dream finished. I cannot understand why i had this dream. My father never comes in my dream, and passed away when i was very young. I was close to him though, when i got to see him.

that must have been brilliant, I don't know if i dream about my dad, i wish i could remember doing, it can make you feel closer to them, i'd just take it as a positive

It was, don't take me wrong. I felt so close to him, i woke up and thought he was alive and it was all real. I felt sick when i realised it was all a dream. I thought maybe he is proud of me doing this new job.

How lovely to dream of your dad!
I dreampt of my mum and dad a week or so ago, it was brilliant to see them in my dreams.It was a silly sort of dream and cant remember what it was about, but it made my day. look forward to the next dream phleb x

Could it be the anniversary of his passsing phleb? The mind plays some tricks on us at certain times.
My dad passed away 26 years ago this coming week and the memories still come flooding back of happy times on these occasions.

He died in Feb 97, so a while away yet.

Last night was the first time I ever remember dreaming about my dad, it felt odd! And the dream was set in his dads house, grandad was there. My dads father died when I was six or seven years old! My aunties and uncles were there, as well as a lot of people I didn't know. In my dream I was trying to be bold and self-confident, striding into the room saying hi, but I felt like shrinking into myself. A very odd dream
