Hi I posted the above a little while ago, and Squad kindly came back with his opinion on it, which I didn't doubt as it's been a troublesome year.... however, I gave up smoking shortly after (on those E-Cigs), and the pounding/trembling all but stopped. I had a relapse last night, and smoked about 4 real cigs, and when I went to bed I had the pounding again for ages and I couldn't sleep, and slight trembling this morn in my hands and arms and then I started to vomit, or rather to retch quite voilently as I'd nothing to eat or drink but feel absolutley ok now. So today, feeling very ashamed & guilty at my weakness, I'm also thinking that my smoking may have caused/contributed to this prob (which is even more reasons to stay off them)? I smoked around 15/20 on a normal day if I had a drink this would increase by at least ten.

Maybe the effects you felt will stick in your mind, the next time you're tempted to light up.
Someone (am sure it was an ABer, actually) once recommended hypnosis, which I passed on to a good friend of mine, and it worked wonders for her. Maybe look into that? :-)
