What Do Abers Think Of What Morrissey Has To Say?

I'm not a big fan of the Royal family, but in this instance they have absolutely nothing to be ' ashamed' of and Morrisey (aka talentless twonk) ought to shut his staggeringly absurd, washed up mouth and stop trying to involve himself in something that frankly has nothing to do with him other than giving him the opportunity to get himself a bit of publicity (...

I think Morrissey and Marr wrote a number of fine pop songs in the 80s, but that's where my admiration of him ends.
His statement seems childish and ill thought out.
Also, I agree with AOG...there are many of us who have bought a ticket for the Assumption Wagon and there is still the possibility that we may all have to get off at the next stop...

Think Morrissey didn't chose his words very well. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to talk of "sheer arrogance" is misguided to say the least. I'm sure the royal family regret what has happened, but they, in no way, were responsible for it. They have sent their condolences, what more can they do?
Look closely at the photos in the newspapers of Jacintha Saldana .Taken long before her death, they show the sad face of an unhappy person Maybe she had problems and perhaps the 'hoax call'was enough to tip her over the edge.Sadly we will never know but in no way should anyone be blaming the Royals.Morrisey is spouting a load of 'rubbish'
Bluestone you said 'Yes, and anybody that dares to criticise the people that pull the strings, is labelled "mental"...
I have probably done more critisising of the establishment than most in one way or another and have in my time indeed been labelled as various things, and as I said I am no lover of the Royal family, however in this case how can anyone in their right mind possibly blame a girl who is in hospital with a particularly nasty form of morning sickness for the fact that someone thought it would be amusing and who made a prank call which eventually led to this tragic outcome? The Duchess of Cambridge could have no prior knowledge or even present knowledge of what was happening and in no way could she be held accountable, therefore everything that Morrisey says in this instance is a total crock of sh1t and he comes over as a self obsessed ranter who likes the sound of his own voice.
The royal family are an institution I disapprove of personally, but they are people and just like the rest of us, not clairvoyant or without heart, so when it's not their fault leave them alone, no?

I'm not an ardent Royalist either, but I do think The Smiths are one of the most over-rated bands ever, and Morrissey is an ageing queen desperate for publicity, any type of publicity. He has far too much too say for himself, most of it of no import wahtsoever. The only thing I have ever found remotely interesting about him was his little spat with Richard Madely when he said he didn't want to get invovolved in an argument with a man who sleeps with his mother.
