We're Back!!

Oh the relief, the ecstasy of our own sofa! The crossing was a lot better than the going over one was. A bit of a swell but no one was ill thank heavens.
Daughter and co came this evening with belated birthday card and presents. They have only gone and got me an ipad. I'm not ungrateful but how the heck am I going to master this. OH got me a samson galaxy phone last Christmas and I still haven't got to grips with it. I had a quick lesson earlier and now I can't remember a thing, still using lappy for this. I'll have to go round for an in depth lesson. Got to master it if only to stop granddaughter laughing at me.

Welcome back - and iPads are fabulous! One of my four year olds is a whizz on it, you will so get the hang of it (doesn't keep your legs warm like a laptop though).

Glad you are home after your great adventure, you wont forget Christmas and New Year 2012! You must be the same as me with technology, must be our age!! I had a HTC smartphone 15months ago and still not got entirely to grips with it, hardly use most of the settings etc. New Year resolution is to use it for AB replies instead of my faithful old computer, which I am doing now but the screen is so small, my eyes are clouding over and the battery is going flat but hey thats progress folks! ;)

welcome home caran, I simply refuse to change my phone for that very reason,took me 9 months to master the e mail ! they should offer free lessons at the local Adult College for all this new technology, our poor old brains cant retain it all in one go, you are fine when somebody takes the trouble to show you but by the time you get home its gone again.
