Just been informed by email that a sum of money has been taken from my Lloyds TSB account. Well, as I don't have an account with Lloyds they can take as much as they like!!

I've just been informed by the tax man that he is refunding me over £2.5k. I've just checked my bank account and the money is there. Woop woop!
Your round then Barmaid !.
You must be joking - my next installment is due at the end of Jan.

What they give with one hand, they take away with another........
Oh well, doh.

maggie, maybe you will get another one tomorrow telling you that a Nigerian prince has put 2 million quid in for you !.

I keep getting letters from Lloyds/TSB telling me my on line account has been upgraded and my new account numbers are Blaa, Blaa, Blaa, which is nice as I've NEVER used Lloyds/TSB.
Hi paddywak- maybe you were in a bank/building society such as TSB or a Cheltenham and Gloucester which became part of the Lloyds banking group
I get various emails about various bank accounts, complete balderdash.
Had one some months ago that upon them receiving confirmation a Nigerian person would leave the country immediately, arrive on my doorstep with a bundle of cash.
Took me ages to stop laughing my socks off.
Could be Factor, my original mortgage was with the Leeds who then became the Halifax, but I paid my mortgage off back in '93 with my redundancy money from the pit.
