Is this a question or a statement?
Are you in the UK?
Do you mean any gym or a particular gym?
What facilities would you want to use in the gym?
I can't see why it would be free.
if you are in england or wales, many health authorities have a programme accessed through the gp for people who are overweight to acces a gym for a period of time for free - exercise referral scheme. Ask your GP
GPs can prescribe free exercise sessions in some cases for the overweight, I think it is for 12 weeks - ask your surgery.
You would need to go to your GP - if you are eligible, he will refer you for gym sessions.
I'm being referred to a local activity scheme by physio - they run some classes and can give reduced fee for local activities such as swimming, gym and classes I think (waiting for them to get in touch).

That's with having arthritis and fibromyalgia and they think it would be beneficial to me to get some gentle exercise like swimming.
Sorry, wrong thread
Wrong thread sibo lol.
yes but only through gp referral

it applies to all that it would not cost more to the nhs(my opinion not their statement)
and what postcode you live in
what benefit to your heatlth and your diabetees do you expect from attending a gym?
Same question as dotty - what benefits would a diabetic get from going to the gym? If you want to join just to get fitter, shouldn't you pay for it?
