Clear but quite mild here. Did anyone get any proper snow yesterday? None of note here in Cambs.

After yesterday's entertainment in archaeology ,nothing 'exciting' in prospect. The ruddy Dandie Dinmont terrier has taken to barking at shadows (or rats,or horses,who knows?) at 3.45 am. Hope the neighbours can't hear her; they probably can if the wind is in the right direction. She's been out all night though she can get into the house, because it's been fairly light outside and the wolfhounds are always out and they are her best friends. Should have locked her in, but couldn't be arsed. Ah,ever the sensitive neighbour !

No just going in as and when I feel like it they are happy to take what ever I can fit in.... so couple of days a week until they can find a proper replacement or til after the wedding whichever comes first. If they still haven't found anyone after the wedding I might set up the three short days a week thing again.

a late good morning folks, no snow here but lots of frost.One of my dogs used to go out at night via the dog flap and bark at shadows, so we bought a child gate to keep him in, works well and I dont have to get up in the night to order him back indoors.
