Just home from the cinema with a pocket full of sodden hankies. Wasn't what to expect having seen the stage show four times. Well..... it was just wonderful. Did think Sacha Baron Cohen was miscast but a small price to pay for a wonderful time out.

I really WANT to go. I was looking forwards to SBC and HBC as the Thenandiers. Not sure about Russell Crowe as Javert though. I also saw that Frances Ruffelle has a part as one of the whores. Nice to see the original Eponine back. her version of "on my own" is lovely.

I've never seen the stage show but I thought that Sacha was brilliant in it. What didn't you like about his casting?

I really want to see it again!! How lovely was the guy who played Enjolras?!! ^_^

Think I might have been spoiled by seeing Matt Lucas as Thénardier in London. He was brilliant in the part. Enjolras was played by Aaron Tveit in the film - a bit of all right in my eyes!!

I googled Aaron's name as soon as I got home from the cinema! I had to find him lol! He's gorgeous!

I suppose i'm kind of biased towards Sacha... I have a bit of a weird crush on him... Do you think it's wrong that I wanted to be Helena in the movie?! Haha!

I have seen the stage show three times, I dont like Sacha whatsit either , they should have consulted me before casting him as the landord - try U Tube with Matt Lucas as "Master of the House" he would have been my choice.
Would like to see the film in Imax but as our local cinema is £4 all seats I wont bother to go up to Waterloo.
