now you know what some of the money we pour into the eu bottomless pit gets wasted on

of course its not their money, so i suppose throwing it away is no big problem,comes naturally, then just soak the eu countries for more.

Well the EDF is not actually funded by the EU

It's funded separately by member states and subject to their management

If they can't manage their own road budgets and just build new ones while neglecting the current ones who are we to tell them how to spend it.

Haven't we got enough problems in the UK with road maintenance especially potholes that don't get filled in. Can't we get a grant from the EU?

perhaps they would be better at educating the people first, then their engineers can maintain the roads, surely that is the clue, educating the people so they can eventually be self sufficient on most counts.

Funded by member states or the EU it matters not, it still comes out of our pockets, also taking into account that more than likely we are at the head of the contributors.

One can churn as much money into Africa's bottomless pit all one likes, but nothing will change, until the inhabitants life style is changed.
