Nose Wax

Anyone ever had this ? - I was offered treatment at a Turkish barber which, to my regret I accepted.....it was two days before our winter holiday in Egypt.
I have hardly been able to sleep because of not being able to breathe through my nose- worsened by dry air conditioning. I arrived home yesterday and have had to glug down five pints of water as my mouth is SO dry.....
Was this likely aggravated by the nose wax? - I have had trouble in the past....
The only thing that helps temporarily is a hot cloth over the eyebrows and sides of the nose....

I don't quite understand... Are you saying that you had the hair in your nostrils waxed? That must be soooo painful.

I always have mine "flamed" (and ears), far less painful than waxing I guess.

I do my own nose wax. My nose is turned up bit like a pigs nose and these little hairs are visible so I wax them off. The first time I did it my nose was numb for a week but is painless now.

Suffered sinus problems the whole week of my holiday....could not sleep properly and air con made things worse. I will NOT have this done ever again!

Eyebrow tweezers to remove nose hair? Sounds like something they do in Guantanamo to extract confessions.

You shouldn't get rid of the hairs in your nose. They filter all sorts of nastiness from getting to your lungs.

Hmmmm. If the hairs are there to trap germs and dust how is it I didn't need any as a kid ?

I find pulling them out works ok, makes one weep & sneeze though.

Sounds to me to be coincidental. Maybe you are just not coming to terms with the hot dry Egyptian climate. (Or maybe you can caught a cold ?)
