Ortho K

I always thought about eye surgery but this seems like a better option. Has anybody here tried it? How expensive is it? Why do so few opticians prescribe these lenses?

I have just started Ortho-K and have been using the lenses for a week now. ITS GREAT!!!! no glasses. The technique is quite simple oce you get the hang of it. You can feel the lenses in your eyes but they get used to them after a while. Remeber to get a decent hand wash as my hands have started to go rough where I have been washing them so much!! My vision is great during the day. I still get halos/starbursts from lights during the night but they said that will go after the first few weeks. I can still drive at night though. I will let you know how it goes.....
