Nice dinner tonight

I'm having my best mate round for dinner tonight, we haven't cought up since before Christmas and I have her Crimbo pressie to give to her. I would like to have a nice girly night with some nice food and a bottle of wine. Do you have any idea's for a nice girly night. So far all I can think of is Spag Bol, although that would be nice would like something a bit more interesting. I would like all the girly ideas, from food too making it a good night it. Thanks for your help! Feel free to tell me about good girly ngiht you have had!

How about a Thai curry? It�s so easy � just chop up some veg and/or chicken, stir fry then add some curry paste & coconut milk and leave to cook. Tastes amazing for such little effort! And of course you must get a supply of chocolate in for later when you�re slightly tiddly and having a good old gossip!!!

Simple stir fry, bean sprouts, veggies, noodles, chicken.... kind of low cal which means, as hannahjo importantly points out, you can eat more chocolate later.

Or grilled salmon, potatoes (new, jacket, whatever you want) and steamed veggies? Add a squeeze of lemon and black pepper to the fish. Mmmm.

Dont forget to season the curry hannahjo! Add a tbs or 2 of palm sugar (or a dark sugar if you have to), about half a tbs of fish sauce and some tamarind juice (or other sour fruit / juice). Lime juice is good too.

i think those 'Old El Paso' kits are great. the fajitas are great and really easy and easy to dish up too cos u just help yourself. You could even get some coronas and tequila and have a mexican-fest!
