nvq in carer assistant

i have been told that the nursing home i have just started my new job at will supply me with a nvq in nursing, i was told it was a nvq2 , but i would of thought i would have to do a nvq1 is there a nvq1 in care assistant? also would you know if i have to do the nvq through the company or can i do it out of the company?

No only experience needed to start of and common sense. You go straight onto NVQ2 and then progress.
