Is anyone worried about North Korea?

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/north-korean-cannibalism-fears-amid-claims-starving-people-forced-to-desperate-measures-8468781.html

If this report is true how can a country let its people get so desperate for survival but still continue with this 'tit for tat' building.

//But construction was abandoned in 1992 when North Korea suffered an economic crisis.//

And there isn't a economic crisis now???

i'm not worried about north korea,i will always be worried about the poor people of north korea who have been systematically starved for generations by uncaring and cruel leaders, who live in luxury, build cities that have practically no inhabitants

It's unthinkable though.

There are other countries that have had to endure horrendous famine but I've never read a report of them eating their own children.

//The United States, supported by Japan and South Korea, spearheaded the new UN resolution.

This week North Korea once again raised the level of rhetoric over sanctions, threatening war with its neighbours in the south saying: "If the South Korean puppet regime of traitors directly participates in the so-called UN 'sanctions', strong physical countermeasures would be taken," the North's Committee for Peaceful Reunification of the Fatherland said.//

^^^That is scary.
Canibalism was quite common in Russia during times of famine noteably from 1921 onwards to after the second world war. It's a common problem where you have a totalitarian state who cares about it's military might and not it's starving people. Hate to think it's happenign in north Korea.
Anything to do with North Korea and China is scary.
