Loads of people on here gave you sound advice on the other threads. If you want to have fingers and toes and worse, amputated, and go BLIND so you can't see your reflection then carry on with your regime of denial and 5 bars of choccy.
BTW metformin had a bad effect on me so my Doc changed me to Competact which is 15mg pioglitazone/850mg metformin hydrochloride.
2 a day. The anti-social bit went away. I also inject insulin 4 times a day. If you need any more find me at ymail.com

If you are a type 1 diabetic gordie, you can use a correction does of fast acting insulin to bring your levels down a bit - I know my daughter takes one unit of novorapid to bring her down - if she had a level of 14 she'd inject 1 unit of insulin to bring her to 12 and so on. But she's been diabetic since she was a toddler so we've over 20 years experience but only with type 1.
that could be a bit of the problem. I drink milk when my sugars are too low and it raises me up. But it could depend on how much milk you are having. I don't know much about type 2 but it was just a wee thought. Have you been feeling ok sometimes high readings indicate that you are coming down with something
