further to my query on cross stitch canvas the 6 count canvas I have seems extremely small for little children, but the smallest tapestry canvas I can find is 10 holes to the inch, anyone help please.

The plastic ones Boxy is suggesting are excellent for children to start on. They don't get as grubby and children get a lovely finish quite quickly. Much more encouraging than when they struggle a bit to begin with.

You can buy those little cross stitch sets for children in Wilkinsons .Wool ,needle ,and canvas for a quid .
