I started using a computer about 11-12 years ago with a free CD introducing me to Freeserve, which subsequently became Wanadoo, Orange, and now EE. BT are now trying to interest me in ‘Better Broadband’ and offering me a monthly download allowance of 10GB. I’m not a technical whizz-kid and don’t know what they’re talking about. As long as what I have still works is there any point in changing? What is a download allowance? Comment appreciated.

10 GB download allowance is not very good. You would easily go over that if you watch videos on YouTube or stream films, just browsing the internet uses up a lot of that allowance.
If you are happy with what you have now there is no point in switching in my opinion.
