Magic board - what is it ?

Hi,

Further to my 'Need to supplement double glazing, temporarily' question a few pages back, someone suggested using a piece of 'magic board'. It's quite a soft wood, used for noticeboards apparently. Not bothered about it being dark (the window being on a main road means I can't have the blind up anyway) but the likes of Homebase etc. haven't heard of it.

Anyone know it's "proper" name" ? Thanks !

connor, if I ever find any "magic board" - light fibre board, eh ? - I'll stick some ceiling tiles to it too, just for good measure. I gorra get some SLEEP !! ;o) mind you, not just yet - still at work !! :))
