Could be lots of things I suppose. Hypertension in cats ( and the eye symptoms) can be associated with hyperthyroidism which is quite common in older cats. You can ususally tell though - the cat gets skinny with a shaggy coat and ravenous appetite. I had my Mum`s cat checked out for that a while ago (negative).
One of ours had that at 21 - led to blindness but we had just moved and the vet said that as we had just moved boots would not be able to adjust - that why I suggested you stick to a routine xx
Hey Sqad, some helpful answers above. I can't add to this other than take him to the vets and see what they can say, but TALK to him. Blind animals need their human's voice more than ever.
