Also if you are tied into any particular deal also ask if there is a Early redemption charge which is payable if you come out of the mortgage before the end date. you may have to pay a hefty penalty. Any other questions i'll do my best to help.
Thanks Debbie
But my problem is I have the redemption fee not only are they charging me a penalty fee for finishing the mortgage early but they are also charging me 3 lots of interest to cover Jan/Feb/March.
Im ok on the penalty fee but not sure on the interest fees, are they right to charge me those fees? The new mortage rate they offered started in Jan and they claim they charge the interest fees cause Im leaving the mortgage early but I thought that was part of the penalty charges.
I need to know if what they say are correct regarding the interst charges
Thanks
Lindy there was lots of good mortgage/financial advisors who will help you without charging and without trying to sell you anything. Try asking friends or collegues for referals. If not try your local estate agents - they usually have one that they use. I wouldnt recommend using a premium rate phone number - anyone who charges those rates my not be working in your best interests, but more interested in their own pockets. Good luck
