Google Chrome Problems

O/S Windows 7 pro 64 bit. 16Gb ram. Intel i7 3.2Ghz Quadcore Chrome is exhibiting a range of problems these include:
Displaying a web page blank.
Freezing so that you can't even close the program.
Very slow takes over 2 minutes to display my Virginmedia E-mails assuming it is not rendered as a blank page.
I have tried a re-install and clearing the history but the problem persists.
Any suggestions please.

I'll be watching this post as my windows 7 laptop is similarly playing up when using chrome. I've switched to firefox for now.

Could be a problem with Flash Player.
