It's a beautiful day and I walked into the High Street (apparently it is not a town) this morning, posted my letters and a parcel, bought some goodies in Iceland (very cheap) got some money from the cash machine, and ended up in Waitrose where I bought a few more goodies (more than £5 so I got a free newspaper and then went into their tea room where I had one of their free cups of tea (you have to have a loyalty card to qualify for this). I love it - my favourite price is free. Then I walked back. Nearly on my knees by the time I got back but soon recovered after another cup of tea so then I washed my hair and did it with the hot brush. Son-in-law came in and we started clearing the garden and throwing rubbish in the skip. A very satisfactory day.
