does anyone know what the value of 5000 italian lire of 1910 would be today Thanks macem

Can't answer the question, (Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, yes, but not Italy) but one way of finding out would be to locate a guidebook of the period (most second hand bookshops have a few old Baedekers) which would tell you. Don't worry too much about the exact year - currencies were pretty stable then.
not too sure...but the last time lire were in circulation, 5000 Lire would equate around �2.20p.
