Why not phone them and ask for details of nearby hotels.

You are more likely to get a good answer than by asking a load of people on AB who live all over the country.

thanks folks will do.
I know Stevenage very well ,live just up the road. How are you traveling ? By train ? . The Roebuck is very near the golf centre and has a good reputation . It is a 'traditional ' Hotel not a modern 'look alike' chain.
The Roebuck is not the closest to the station but is convenient to your venue. It has full disabled access and a decent bar and restaurant.
Avoid the 'Archways Hotel' though it is mainly used as B&B accomadation by the DHSS for homeless people.
@Eddie You do? Same here - live around 10 miles away from Stevenage...
I live in Royston , but I worked in Stevanage for years, still go there for shopping at least once a month.
@Eddie - I live just down the road, in Ashwell :)

now folks we will have the car with us can someone recommend a nice place for Sunday lunch, does not have to be in the immediate area of Stevenage.
Been a while since I was there last, but this used to be pretty good.

My own personal favourite for Sunday lunch was this place

But I would recommend getting there early for Sunday Lunch - I would recommend as near noon as possible :)
