Just been down the local. Had a great craic. Are friends better than family?

How much does it bother you Zacs? I have a close family member who is so argumentative and stirring that I have chosen to completely ignore her now. We have nothing in common and there is no point now in making any effort. I am distantly pleasant at funerals etc. but that is as far as it goes. It doesn't bother me at all because I can't see that being related makes us like each other.

I'm not keen on any of my six siblings, one I wouldn't pi$$ on if he were on fire. I can't stand my mum and my dad died over 30 years ago.
