What is the minimum deposit one must have to open an account with Coutts, and is there any other eligibility criteria?

Do not know the minimum deposit, but if the average balance of your Current Account drops below �5000 in any quarter, you will be charged a fee of �60.

20 - 25 years ago you had to have a minimum of �10,000 to open an account with Coutts, it's probably gone up since then. What was quite startling was I worked in a Bank in that era and every year there was a Marxism week in a building close to the branch I worked in and the number of people at this Marxism week who would come in to get cash who had Coutts bank accounts was amazing!
