I`ve found a Pataks tikka masala paste in the cupboard which I`m going to use in the slow cooker with chicken. I should use cream but I haven`t got any and can`t be bothered to go out again. I have a tub of reduced fat Greek style natural yoghurt. If I put a bit of that in, would it separate or would it mix in properly?

I'd mix a tiny bit (a teaspoon or so) of cornflour with the yogurt-then add near the end of cooking. That should prevent splitting.
