Does the world we live in really exist? No, according to outspoken author David Icke, who insists the universe is actually a hologram, that our thoughts and perceptions are being controlled by a body of figures including some members of the Royal Family and government.

David believes that the lives we lead are very similar to the story behind the Matrix movies – that we are being controlled by a group of beings who are controlling our perception of reality.

Discuss?? Maybe not.

I think "cakeshifter" should get the best answer :)

There are some pretty serious thinkers who have suggested we live in a simulation. Its an interesting speculation when alcohol is around :)
Where is 'cakeshifter ' post? I don't see it.
@society

McFluff said this "I'm a shape shifter, depends on how much cake i have consumed...",
then trigger happy summarised it as "cakeshifter" :)
I am absolutely certain that Icke knows perfectly well that his theories are b*llocks. He is intelligent enough to know that the more he is debunked the more money he makes. It is very widely believed that he actually runs main the 'Anti Icke's ' site as well . He is not a nut case he is VERY clever and has found a way to make £millions that can never fail. Like all conspiracy theorists he knows that the more people try to disprove him the more others will belive it just proves the point.
