Cleaning Bath Room Tiles

Can anyone suggest a good product,for cleaning bathroom tiles. What i am really looking for is something to re whiten the grout. thanks

here is a copy of a letter which I sent to my son and his wife a few weeks ago.

Dettol Mould and Mildew remover. It is fantastic. Spray on any black mould, leave it for about 20 mins and rinse off. Fabulous, worth every penny.

This is brilliant stuff - Dettol Mould & Mildew Trigger Spray , just spray on and leave for a while then rinse off

Try HG Bathroom Mould spray.
It's pretty vicious stuff, so use a face mask and open the window. If the mould is really bad you might have to do a second application.
I used it in the shower cubical and it really made a massive difference.

These are genuine comments from real people - not sales patter from reps. Let me know how you get on. The Dettol spray is the more popular of the two.

Maybe a grout rake and replacement grouting would be best. It'll pass an afternoon.

well you could get a grout whitening pen from diy shop but I have been told that it works out expensive, also is fiddly and tome consuming

twofeathers if it can get black to white I'm sure it'll get yellow to white. Worth a try anyway....

I always use bleach and a toothbrush like ubasses has suggested. The grout looks like new afterwards.

Be careful with the mould and mildew stuff. Do not let it stay on any of the silver stuff round the plug hole for modern units...we have lovely black marks on our now. although it did work on the grout!!

You can clean bathroom tile using a mixture of water and vinegar. Mix one part vinegar with two parts water. You can use a cloth to scrub the tiles then. Hope it will work for you. Media URL: http://www.homescapesonline.com
