Hi can anyone help when I try to use the mail symbol on the web page (mines top right ) a box with Windows Internet Explorer comes up saying Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed. any ideas bearing in mind I'm not that experienced. Thanks

When you click a link like that, Windows tries to open your e-mail client in order to send an e-mail. If you only ever use web-mail (such as hotmail, Gmail, etc), then Windows won't be able to open the e-mail client - hence the message.
If you use Gmail, there's a little helper you can install that pretends to be your e-mail client but then takes you to your gmail page on the web. How do you normally send e-mail?
